Blaptica Dubia roaches are a perfect feeder roach.  They are a smaller and slower moving than Discoid, Orange Head, and Hissing roaches.  They don't climb, and although the males have wings, they do not fly.  Dubia roaches are prolific breeders.  A ratio of one male to three females is perfect.  Keep your colony at 85 - 90 degrees for optimal breeding.  Dubia's will eat a variety of foods.  High protein foods such dry cat food mixed with whole grain cereals makes the perfect staple for Dubias.  Mixing in fresh fruits and vegetables once a week adds the perfect variety to their diet.  Once you have an established colony, you will have roaches of all sizes for your lizards and arachnids.

ROACHES GO DORMANT IN WEATHER BELOW 65 DEGREES, AND LOOK COMPLETELY DEAD. WARM THEM UP FOR 6 HOURS BEFORE ASSUMING ANY ARE DOA.
